Doris Kelley Pickens, 72, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet. Doris was a loving mother who worked as a nurse for 35 years. She was preceded in death by husband, Nelson Ray Pickens; son, Curtis Ray Kelley; and daughter, Barbara Louise Pearce. Survivors: Son, Charles Ray Kelley and wife, Louise; daughters, MerryLee McDade and Vivian McDade; granddaughter, Doris Miles and husband, Richard; and great-grandson, Isaac Curtis Miles.
