Vickie was born March 13, 1950 in Kansas City, MO as one of two children to Yewell D. and Wilma M. (Brummett) Eastep. She married her beloved Bennie G. Richardson on September 12, 1982 and together had two children. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved to garden her flowers, tending to her animals, being outdoors, and collecting numerous craft items from local fairs. They were long time members of First Baptist Church of Raytown where she was highly involved in numerous committees and bible studies. Her family remembers her as unique, always elegant, having bold personality, and as a talented green thumb. Vickie is loved and will be missed.
She is survived by daughter, Jana Ulery and husband Jerry of Chicago, IL; son, Michael Dawson of Missouri; grandson, Jamie Hays and wife Vicky of Chicago, IL; great grandson, Aidon Hays; and long time friends Charlene Smith, Marlene Gonn, and Kenny White.
