Monty Lee Montgomery, 84, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2015, in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, in Rosemound Cemetery with the Rev. Lester Adams officiating.
Monty was born in Eldorado, Texas, to the late Marion F. and Josie (Low) Montgomery. He graduated from La Vega High School in 1950 and served four years in the United States Navy. Monty married Barbara Ann Novak on November 15, 1958 in Ennis, Texas. He worked for General Tire for 37 years.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Gene Montgomery and Clark Lewis Montgomery.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann, of Waco; sister-in-law, Mildred Montgomery, of Waco; several nieces and nephews, including Tina England and Kelli Montgomery; other relatives and many friends.
