WHITE, Patty L. 72, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 26, 1938, in Villa, Ohio, the daughter of James and Bessie (Balsinger) Potts. Patty worked for Perkins Restaurants for over seventeen years. She spent much of her life caring for her husband of fifty-five years, her three children, and many grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Jerry, one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Carol White, two daughters and sons-in-law: Teresa and Dan Bortle, and Cheryl and William Wilson all of Springfield; eight grandchildren and their spouses, twenty great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Betty Potts, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011, from 5-7 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
