Mr. Baker was the son of the late Edd and Ruth Sims Baker. He was also preceded in death by his son, Greg Baker, brother, Troy Baker and brother-in-law, Woody Coffee. Mr. Baker was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a Mason. Mr. Baker was formerly employed with New Holland Mills with 15 years of service and was a carpenter for a number of years.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday June 3, 2015 at Silver Shoals Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Irvin and Tommy Herbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Silver Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.

Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
