THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., Mar. 23, 1994, p.4A. 'Charlie DeWayne Dake, 45, 1600 W. Shiloh, died Tuesday, Mar. 21, 1994, at his home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 2 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 24, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Blackshear officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Dake was born in Paris July 25, 1948, a son of Charlie Walker and Marie Pool Dake. He was formerly employed by Paris Iron and Metal and was a Baptist. He married Rose Christopher Dec. 21, 1968. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Rosemarie Butler of Paris; a son, Charlie DeWayne Dake Jr. of Paris; four grandchildren; and three brothers, Charles Dake and Edgar Dake, both of Paris, and J.A. Dake of Cunningham. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Laverne Dake Zereskay.'
