Mrs. Anne Hancock, 63, of 1811 Ten and One-Half St., died at 2 p.m. Feb. 17, 1948 at St. John's hospital after an illness of three months.

Mrs. Hancock was born June 5, 1884 in England.

On Dec. 28, 1914, she was married to John U. Hancock.

Prior to moving to Springfield 10 years ago, she had resided in Mechanicsburg.

She was a member of the Mechanicsburg Christian church.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Richard Walls; mother, Mrs. Mary H. Ketchum; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Bauvet [sic], Mrs. Charles C. Horn, all of Springfield; and Mrs. George H. Ross, of Dawson; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at the Vancil funeral home.

Burial was in Mechanicsburg cemetery.
