Phillip L. "June" Kelley Jr., 67, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Envoy Health Care in Fork Union, Virginia.
He was born August 27, 1941, to the late Phillip Sr. and Virginia Brice Kelley in Scottsville, Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; son, Ricky; daughter, Janice; a brother, Mack; and a sister, Ann.
June had a passion for working on any type of vehicles, tractors and especially large trucks at Kelley's Auto.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Sharian, Jennifer and Shaalexis; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister, Bertha Armstrong and her husband, William; two uncles; a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2009, at Thomasson Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Union Baptist Church in Shores.
