Anthony Charles "Andy" Alexander went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 31, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of almost 25 years Karen, his daughter Taylor and his son Ethan, all of Plano. Also surviving is his mother Joyce Alexander of Caddo, Oklahoma and his two brothers Thomas of Queens, NY and Douglas of Mountain Grove, Missouri.
Andy was a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. After graduation he joined Fox Broadcasting Company and his hard work and talent earned him the position of Vice President of Research and Programming for Fox 4 News in Dallas.
Visitation for Andy will be Tuesday evening, June 2, 2015 from 5 until 9pm at the Ted Dickey West Funeral Home. The family will be present from 6:30 until 8:30. Graveside services will be Wednesday morning at 11:30am at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney. Following the graveside service, there will be a memorial service to celebrate Andy's life at 3:30pm at the Parkway Hills Baptist Church, 2700 Dallas Pkwy, Plano, TX. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
