Jess T. Jones A 46 year resident of Belmont, passed away on March 20, 2007 at the age of 74. He was a native of San Francisco and graduated from St. Matthews Elementary School, Serra High School and SF State University. Jess served in the US Air Force and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved sports, playing, watching and coaching as well as the study of American history and collecting early American artifacts. He taught in Jefferson Union High School District for 33 years, where he coached football and swimming and was past president and an active member in the Plateau Skymont Neighborhood Assoc. Jess is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lois; his devoted daughter and beloved grandson.
