Marjorie was born Nov. 2, 1923, in Weatherford, the only child of Dwight and Vesta Hitt.
The family moved to Fort Worth when she was 14.
She married Henry D. Rowe, originally of San Diego, Calif., when she was 21. Henry died suddenly in 1966, and Marjorie was left to raise their three young children on her own; she did so with courage, love and devotion. She worked for Cummins Lighting Center and returned to Weatherford after her retirement. Marjorie was a radiant light - fun, patient, smart, generous, lovely and kind.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. Rowe.
Survivors: Daughter, Dawn Rowe of Faber, Va.; son, Jeffrey Rowe of Weatherford; son, Jason Rowe and wife, Nancy, of Frisco; and niece, Paula Behabetz of Bluffton, S.C.
