Obit: Merrill Olson Dies at Hospital
Merrill D. Olson, 56, of 623 1/2 South Sixth Street, died this morning at St. Joseph's hospital.
He was born May 5, 1915 in Norman county, and was a salesman for Johnson Cigar Co. He was a veteran of World War ll, member of the American Legion and Elks lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Midge his mother, Mrs. Anna Olson of Fertile, four sister, Mrs. Don Weatherby and Mrs. Raymond Anderson of Fairmont, N.D., Mrs. Tilmer Stai and Mrs. Frank Nansen of Winger, a brother, Allan, Minneapolis. Funeral services are planned for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral home, the Rev. Arthur Rimmereid officiating and burial in Evergreen cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from Wednesday noon to time of service.
