STOUT Rita D. - Rita D. Stout, age 91, passed away Friday, February 2, 2007, at Sunset Retirement Village in Sylvania, OH. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Rita graduated from the Columbus School for Girls in 1933 and attended the Ohio State University before graduating from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Education degree. Rita married her childhood sweetheart, Lee E. Stout, in 1940, and together they moved to Toledo. A resident of the Toledo area for 67 years, Rita taught kindergarten and 1st grade at Chase, Riverside, and Longfellow schools in Toledo. She was past-president of ECW at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and was most recently a member of St. Michael's in the Hills Church. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Lee. She is survived by her children, David (Sallie) of Lewis Center, OH, William Lee (Christina) of Dundee, MI, Michael (Laura) of Toledo, OH, Victoria Stout Creekmore (Richard) of Sylvania, OH, and Rebecca Stout Goff (Lyman) of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Todd David (Bonnie), Mark Robert (Leesa), Matthew Lee, Guy William (Lynn), Stefanie Anne, Amelia, Jeffrey Stout, Meredith Victoria, Lyman Andrew (Cori), and Jennifer Moore Goff, Quinton, Jason, and Davin Creekmore; great-grandchildren, Alexander David and Lauren Elizabeth Stout, Adam Kristopher Motz, and Bret Meyers; sisters, Virginia D. Morrison of Dayton, OH and Patricia D. Skinner of Asheville, NC and three nieces. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at St. Michael's in the Hills Church, 4718 Brittany Road, Toledo, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Michael's in the Hills Church.
