Patricia Ann "Pat" Eason, age 75 of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015. She was born September 19, 1939 in Carroll County, Georgia to the late Reuben Noah Traylor and Julia Elizabeth Reaves Traylor. She was the owner and operator of Pat's Place for over 25 years. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Peggy Farmer, Lucille Farlow, Leola Bates, and Doris Kittle; brothers, Billy Traylor and Witt Traylor. Survivors include her husband, Jerrell Edward "Ed" Eason of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Curtis Benefield of Bremen; son and daughter-in-law, LaBron and Zena McGill of Hiram; brother, Jerry Traylor of Lagrange; three grandchildren, Brittany Benefield, Brooke Benefield both of Bremen, and Kyle McGill of Hiram, Georgia. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 03, 2015 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Sam Braswell officiating. Interment will follow in West Georgia Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Barry Jiles, Stanley Rowe, Stan Rowe, Jr., Kevin Marshall, and David Morris. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel of Carrollton has charge of the arrangements.
