Doris J. Hale, age 88, formerly of Pemberville, OH, most recently of Perrysburg, OH passed away on
Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Kingston of Perrysburg, Perrysburg.
She was born on March 29, 1927 in Chillicothe, OH to John and Hazel (Garringer) Tomlinson.
On March 17, 1951 she married H. Harland Hale in Columbus, OH and he preceded her in death on October 20, 2011.
Doris was a wonderful homemaker who also worked at the Wood County Board of Election for eight years and the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services for five years.
Her memberships included: First United Presbyterian Church of Pemberville, ALPHA PI CCL and the OI Club.
She was an avid OSU fan and also enjoyed their marching band.
Doris is survived by her children: Karen (Dan) Brown of Rockvale, TN, Harland (Janet) Hale of Worthington, OH, Warren (Ann) Hale of Perrysburg, OH and Mary (Dave) Hayward of Temple Terrace, FL, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and sister-in-law: Mary Tomlinson of Melbourne, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: H. Harland Hale and brother: Jack Tomlinson.
