Marie was a widow, and the story of her husband, who fought in the US Cavalry in the "Indian Wars", and died in a veteran's home in California, is fascinating, because for whatever reason there was a name change: The following is a transcription of the widow's death benefits document , kindly provided by ....
Name of Soldier: Jasper, Albert a.k.a. Johnston, William K.

From additional note about gravesite by FindaGrave photographer Larry:

I got the Grave numbers from the Springwell directory. But I am not satisfied.

The drawn-on photo is a pic of Lot #139 N 1/2. The stone to the left is (far side, l-r) John Nielsen Espegren Lot #139 S 1/2 #8 and Anna Espegren S 1/2 #7. AND -same stone- (near side, l-r) Oscar Espegren S 1/2 #4 and Albert/Alfred Espegren S 1/2 #3. The two stones are so far apart that I wonder if Elsie's is misplaced, i.e. on Maren/Mayron's grave?? Elsie and Albert SHOULD be right next to each other.

Perhaps the numbering of the graves is different, though I checked with the on-site directory--Larry
