Sally E. (Bigler) Gordon died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Genesis Hammonds Lane Nursing Center in Brooklyn Park, Md. She was born Jan. 26, 1943, in Akron, Ohio to the late Fred and Alice (Wheaton) Bigler. Sally was a bookkeeper for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Green Sheets. She was someone who enjoyed hosting parties, bingo and playing cards, especially Canasta. She loved to eat Haluski, Mac n Cheese and "yum yums," like tootsie rolls, just to name a few. Sally is survived by her son, Richard J. Gordon and his wife, Holly, of Pittsburgh; daughters, Joyce A. Pagan and her husband, Frank, of Linthicum, Md., and Deborah E. Turpin and her husband, Michael, of Shrewsbury, Mass.; stepchildren, Thomas R. Gordon, of Pymatuning, Theresa A. Thompson and her husband, Robert of Cleveland, Ohio; sister, Tamara Scuillo; and several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Gordon Sr.; brother, Richard Bigler; and sisters, Thelma Porch, Marianne Affolder and Carole Hanna. Friends and family may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC. Funeral service at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment Jefferson Memorial Park.
