The Odessa American (Odessa, Texas) - Sat, Sep 14, 1985 - Page 21 - Andrews - A 22-year-old New Mexico man was killed, and a 57-old Odessa man was injured, in a two-vehicle accident Friday about 16 miles west of Andrews on Texas 176 and FM 181, a Department of Public Safety spokeswoman said Friday.
Kelly Bloodworth of Artesia, N.M. was pronounced dead at 1:50 p.m. Friday by Andrews County Justice of the Peace G.A. Ragsdale, the spokeswoman said.
According to reports about 12:45 p.m., a 1965 International truck driven by Bloodworth east on Texas 176 was struck on the left side by a northbound 1980 Peterbuilt truck tractor driven by Doyle Brown, Box 6194 in Odessa, the spokeswoman said.
Brown was treated and released from Permian General Hospital in Andrews, the spokeswoman said.

OBITUARY - El Paso Times (El Paso, Texas) - Mon. Sept 16, 1985 - Page 6 - Kelly T. Bloodworth, 22, of Artesia died Friday in Andrews, Texas, in a traffic accident. Services will be at 2 p.m.. Monday at First Christian Church, with burial in Woodbine Cemetery. He was a truck driver. Arrangements are by Terpening and Son Mortuary.
