Darren Lee Beckham, 15 earned his wings on Saturday, May 30, 2015 after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was born on March 20, 2000 in St Louis, Missouri.
Darren was a student at Kellyville School where he was loved by so many. He had a huge heart full of love and compassion. Darren enjoyed being with family and friends, video games, OKC Thunder, St Louis Cardinals, St Louis Rams and Oklahoma University, being at the lake and his favorite holiday was the 4th of July and popping fireworks. He had so much love in his heart and cared for everyone.
Darren is survived by his mother; father; brother; nana; great-grandparents; two aunts; two uncles; five cousins; his best friend; and many other family and friends.
Darren is preceded in death by his papa, Albert Metcalfe; great-grandmother, Carlene Strickland; and uncle, Aaron Metcalfe. Darren touched many lives and will always be in our hearts and memories. He will be deeply missed by all family and friends. Gone but never forgotten.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Smith Funeral Chapel, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Dripping Springs Baptist Church, Hwy 33 in Kellyville with Rev. Greg Hurst officiating. Interment to follow at South Heights Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
