MURPHY, Molly Elizabeth
On May 29, 2015, our little angel, Molly, left this world and went to be with Jesus that loved her so. She was Daddy’s Molly Pops, Mommy’s Sweet Pea, Big Sissy, Marissa was a second mommy and she was Delaney’s best friend ever. She loved her grandma, mamaw, and her papaws along with her many babysitters, church family, and all of the many friends of the family. Molly was an animal lover too and gave her dog, Charlie, a hug and kiss every night before bed. She loved doing things with all of her grandparents like watering flowers, riding on the Doodlebug to see animals at the neighbor’s farm, baking, and riding on the lawnmower.

Molly came into this world on September 12, 2011, and had to fight her way through the first week of her life to be able to share these three and a half precious years with all of us. Besides being cute as a button, she had a huge personality for such a little person. She loved to cuddle and give hugs and kisses. She was very loving to everyone, even her baby dolls and all animals. She also always tried to comfort Delaney when she was upset, even if she was in time-out for doing something mean to her. Molly was as ornery as they come and you never knew what she was going to say or do next. Molly leaves behind her Daddy & Mommy, Kerry & Sarah (Davis) Murphy, her big sissy Marissa and her medium big sissy, Delaney; also her paternal grandparents Papaw Roger & Grandma Carolyn (Martin/Murphy) Thobe of Maria Stein, her maternal grandparents, Papaw John & Mamaw Susan (Hill) Davis of Pleasant Hill, and her maternal great-papaw, Gerald “Jar” Davis of Bradford, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. Those preceding her in death are her paternal grandpa, Alan Murphy, maternal great grandma, Mary (Gibson) Davis, paternal great grandparents Robert & Florence Murphy & Lowell & Kathleen Martin, cousin Steve Hill and infant cousin Clarke Davis, and Jeff & Greg Martin, Aunts Jean (Hill) Myers, Billie (Hill) Wills, Rachael (Murphy) Draving, and Ida Mae (Murphy) Martin, Uncles David Robinson, Lewis Wills, Vernon Myers, and Dale & Ivan Murphy, also her maternal great grandparents Hazel & Tom Hill. Molly would ask, “Why does Jesus love me?” and Mamaw would say, “He loves us all. We are so special to him that he came and died so we can be with him someday.” Now our precious little Molly gets to be with Jesus and meet her Grandpa Alan, Great Aunt Billie, and all of the other wonderful friends & family that have already left this world. We all loved this special little girl so much and will keep her in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, June 4, at Troy Church of the Nazarene, 1200 Barnhart Rd, Troy, with interment following at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. The family will receive friends from 3-7 PM Wednesday, at the church.
