Watchman at Courtland Young Estate Succumbs To Heart Attack.
James Maurice Mather, aged 66 years, dropped dead at 11 p. m. Monday in the home of Mrs. Mary [Young] Hancock, the former Courtland Young estate, where he had been a watchman for two years. Mrs. Hancock heard Mr. Mather breathing deeply and called a doctor, but he succumbed to heart trouble, which he had suffered 10 years, before medical aid could reach him. Mr. Mather was born near here April 18, 1866. He is survived by his widow, three sons and a daughter; Porter, Ray and Gladys here and Seth Mather of Detroit, Mich, Funeral services were not arranged today.
