Michelle Marinko Salazar, of Salina, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Marinko; mother, Alice Marinko; and brother, Richard Dark. She was born Dec. 20, 1960, at Camp Lejeune, N.C. She attended Salina Central High School and Marymount College. She owned and operated Michelle's Love N Daycare for 20 years. She is survived by her son, Tanner Chaput; brother Eric (Debbie) Marinko; sister Cheryl (Timothy) Walters; and nieces and nephews, Stefanie, Michael, R.J., Elijah, Alicia and Sophia. A graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, with Father Frank Coady officiating, with burial following. She loved her son and family more than anything in this world. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Anyone who knew her was blessed to have ever met her. May you rest in peace our beautiful sister and know that our love for you will never, ever end.
