Ollie Ellis Hall, 72 of Woodsboro, died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, 23rd day, June 2005.He was born in Gonzalez County in 1932 to the late Corey Ollie and Lela Mae Hall. He attended high school in Karnes City graduating in 1950. He served in the Korean War in the U. S. Army until 1955 after which he received a bachelor's degree in industrial arts from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. He married Bernie Naylor of Woodsboro on June 14, 1957.Ollie, a fifth generation Texan, farmed and ranch in Refugio, San Patricio and Victoria Counties for over 40 years. During his life he served numerous terms on the school board of the Woodsboro Independent School District. Also faithfully serving on the board of directors for the Woodsboro Farmer's Cooperative and the Farm Bureau. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents and step mother Lucille Mahan Hall and an infant older brother, Corey Ira Hall. Ollie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Bernie Hall of Woodsboro, Texas; three children: Joel Hall and wife Lina of Bayside, Texas; Jami McCool and husband Bobby Ray of Woodsboro, Texas; Jody Hall and wife Marion of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren: Kaitlin and Kasye McCool, Marcus Pena, Joshua and Benjamin Hall; one brother, Charlie (Joyce) Hall of Port Lavaca, Texas; two sisters, Erlene (John) Pendley of Niceville, Florida and Carla (Danny) Machacek of Seguin, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2005 at Moore Funeral Home, 402 South Alamo St., Refugio, Texas 78377 361-526-4334.Graveside services at La Rosa Cemetery in Woodsboro, Texas at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2005 with Harold Johanson officiating.Pallbearers will be: Rusty, Randy, and Rob Hall, Johnny and Chris Naylor and Henry Kamie, Jr.Honorary pallbearers are; Leo White, Kenneth Gillespie, Edgar Blaschke, Robert Gillespie, Joe Garcia, Joe Ferova and Greg Montemayor.Memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of South Texas, 1908 N.
