"Doris Jean Berry age 82 of Munfordville passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 20th at her home.
She was born in Magnolia to the late William Jennings Wood & Alberta Renfro Wood.
Doris was a retired floral designer having owned her own flower shop, Berry’s Florist for many years.
She was an active member of the Munfordville Woman’s Club when she was able to attend.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Jim, a granddaughter Christina Ann Berry, two sisters Alene Hagar & Mary Higgason and two brothers William Wood and Franklin Wood.
Doris is survived by:
Two sons-Jim Berry & wife Myra of Glasgow and Joey Berry of Munfordville
Two daughters-Dr. Angela Berry Lasley of Woodburn and Allison Berry of San Antonio, TX
Five grandchildren-Beth Ann Berry Snyder, Dakota Caldwell, Aaron Lasley, Kate Gostowski & James Alexander Berry; four great-grandchildren-Ada Lasley, Ara Lasley, Idris Qamar & James Joseph Berry
Two sisters-Frances Sheffield and Betty Willard both of Louisville
Doris’s children honored her wishes and chose cremation. In memory of Doris Berry, memorial contributions may be given to the Dr. David Belt Athletic Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 217, Munfordville, KY 42765.
The arrangements are under the direction of the Sego Funeral Home."
