GEORGE L. DIESS

George L. Diess died Sunday at his home, Route 1, Eugene, at the age of 67 years.

He was born April 24, 1866, in Philadelphia. He came to Oregon in 1874.

Mr. Diess is survived by his widow, Mrs. Laura Diess; two sons, Dewey L. Diess of Hoquiam, Wash., and Ivan C. Diess of Ashland; two daughters, Mrs. Belle Cavett of Eugene and Mrs. Maudie F. Ellman of Sherwood, Ore.

Funeral services are to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Veatch chapel. Rev. Harry R.R. Neat officiating. Interment will be in the Mulkey cemetery.
