Susan Higley May 53 of 120 Hewitt Road Mystic died Wednesday evening Nov. 27th at her home. She was born in Middletown CT September 17, 1949 daughter of Margaret Dunham Higley of Mystic and the late Clarence Higley. She married Craig May in Madison CT in February of 1969. He survives. Mrs. May had been employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London and later worked in the Medical Record Department there. She was a member of the Bishop Seabury Episcopal Church in Groton and a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Mystic. She was a charter member of the Mystic River Ambulance Corps. In addition to her husband she is survived by l Daughter and Son-in-law Melanie and Doyle Cummings of Pawcatuck, l Son Christopher May of Mystic, 2 Sisters Kathi Higley and Lorri Higley both of Groton. 4 Grandchildren Branden, Tyler, Eli and Jeremiah. The funeral will be held at the Bishop Seabury Episcopal Church 256 North Road (Rt 117) Groton on Monday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends may call at the Mystic Funeral Home Route l Mystic on Sunday from 6-8PM.
