Charles Walter Becker, 74, of 456 N. Sixth St., died today at his home. He had been ill for several months.
He was born in Clay but had lived here most of his life. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Cathectic church. He also belonged to Mt. Pleasant Grange. He served as a foreman with the Niagara Mohawk Power Corp until his retirement some years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Arnold Silkworth of Fulton; four.
sons, Ernest and William, both of Fulton; Stanley of Mt. Pleasant, and Walter of Minet, also 20 grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Young and Son funeral home and at 9 am. in the Immaculate Conception church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home
will be 7 to 9 p. m., Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Thurs and Friday.
