Funeral services for Bobby Ray Pate, Sr., 78, of Centerville, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Bro. Dean Easterling, of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate and interment will follow in the Centerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, May 31st at the funeral home. Bobby Ray , Sr. was born on June 14, 1936 in the Flo Community of Leon County to Raymond A. & Lola Mae (Moore) Pate. He had lived in Leon County for the past thirty-nine years and was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Pate loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years. He passed away May 28, 2015 at his home. Mr. Pate was preceded in death by both of his parents and sister, Mary Byrd. Surviving family members include sons, Morgan Ray Pate & wife, Trenda, Bobby Ray Pate, Jr. & wife, Brandy, & Denny Pate, all of Centerville; daughters, Linda Noseff of Oklahoma, Bobbie Kay McVey of Buffalo & Susan Raska of Buffalo and sister, Raymer McCarver of Hearne. Mr. Pate is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Serving as pallbearers: Ethan Pate, Daniel Pate, Dylan Pate, Brian Fielder, Scott Fielder, Cole McVey & Shane McVey. Honorary Pallbearers: Cameron Pate, Hayden Pate & Briar Pate.
