ALBANY Ann S. Ruede, 90, died Thursday, December 18, 2003 at the Resurrection Rest Home in Castleton. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Delia Maloy Gleason. Mrs. Ruede worked for the Albany County Civil Service Commission, retiring in 1979. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church. Wife of the late Joseph Ruede; mother of Nancy Stock and her husband, Bernard of Albany, Rev. Ernest Ruede of St. Paul's Church, New Bern, N.C. and Mary Wengert and her husband, Barry of Utica, N.Y.; sister of Mildred Hennessy of Albany and the late Marjorie Connors, James, Walter, John and Howard Gleason; grandmother of Michele Caroli, Cheryl Stock, Kimberly Lathrop and Andrew Wengert; also survived by three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday 9:45 a.m. from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, thence to St. Catherine of Siena Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Burial will follow the Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont. Those who wish, may send memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association, Northeastern New York, 85 Watervliet Avenue, Albany, NY 12206.
