She owned Opal's Cafe in Success and was the former manager of the Terrace Room at the Bella Vista Country Club. She was a member of Garfield Church of Christ and attended Bentonville Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bill McCauley; and five brothers.
Survivors included her husband, Harold Armstrong of the home; a daughter, Alice Faye Cray of Bentonville; three sons, Tim Seratt and Terry McCauley, both of Rogers, and Mark Seratt of Garfield; two sisters, Beulah Knowlton of Pea Ridge and Irene Sisco of Garfield; a stepdaughter, Mary Lou Duncan of Corpus Christi, Texas; two stepsons, Harold Dean Armstrong of San Angelo, Texas, and Arthur Lee Armstrong of Hobbs, New Mexico; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
