John D. Paulk, age 87, of Bessemer, AL passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015. He was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Paulk was the owner operator of Paulk Upholstery for over 50 years. John was a family man and was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby S. Paulk and his granddaughter, Kimberly Bates.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with burial following at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mr. Paulk's grandson, Luke Gossett will be officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
