Catherine Reemsnyder was born May 28, 1795. She was the fifth of nine children born to Herman Frederick Riemenschneider and Margaret Anne Musser. Catherine was first married to Jacob Schneader. He died in 1929 and she married William B. Schneader shortly after. Catherine died on June 19, 1839.

A record was found on a tombstone that Jacob was born March 8, 1785, and died July 10, 1829. The writer is uncertain about this Jacob being the right party. Later on Catherine married William B. Schneader. Tombstone record says he was born September 28, 1798, and died Aug. 31, 1883. He was a farmer and a carpenter. At one time he was a justice of the peace. William was a fine penman and also violinist. Members of the Reformed Church. Resided at Brecknock Tp., Lancaster Co., Pa."
