1. Bought a home near the NE corner of Main & Duane in Glen Ellyn.

2. In 1902 Edward was the "Justice of the Peace" for Glen Ellyn.


He was killed on December 31, 1923 by a Freeport train, as he was crossing the North Western tracks at Prospect Avenue during a snowstorm.

From 1890-1923 lived in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Dr. Higley was killed by a train, when warning signal failed at crossing.
