Barr, Brenda J., 76 of Mt. Washington, KY, passed away May 28, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was a retired employee of General Electric Appliance Park. Brenda was a very dedicated wife, mom and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her sister, Emma Cheatham; and brothers, Madison, Loraine, Kenneth, Leon, Jim, Wilson, Cecil and Thurman Bottom. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Earl Barr; sons, Carroll Barr and Troy Barr and his wife Crystal; sister, Florence Bottom; brothers, Carroll and Ernie Bottom; former daughter-in-law, Diane Lewis; grandchildren, Melody, Jordan, Summer and Kemper Barr. Her funeral will be 10am Monday at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 1-6 pm Sunday. Published in THE COURIER-JOURNAL, May 30, 2015
