After graduating from Glenbard West High School in 1990, went to college and tried to figure out what to do with his life. He stopped searching in 1997, when he enlisted in the Army. Bievre was sent to Iraq earlier this year and returned home briefly in February for his daughter's birth. He and his wife, Angela, had been looking forward to having children for several years. After he returned to combat, his wife and baby moved to Virginia Beach, Va., to be with her family while he was away. He wanted a little girl, somebody he could spoil, but he won't be there for their daughter's first smile, first steps, first birthday. He couldn't wait to get home to her. Family was an important thing to him. Bievre was expected to return home from Iraq in October. Though he had looked forward to spending time with his first child, his family said he was proud to be serving overseas. He was 34.
