Mrs. Mattie Lee Daniels-Dale, "Miss Red" of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 30, at 2:00 p.m. at The Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Apostle Mark T. Jones, Pastor with Bishop Michelle B. Patty officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Daniels-Dale was a native of Tampa, FL and was a resident for 71 years. She attended Gary Adult High School and was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in her younger years.
She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant and owned her own daycare center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Lee Daniels Sr. & Willie Mae Daniels; son, Stevie R. Dale; daughter, Lahomi Dale; brothers, Nathaniel Daniels, Thomas Daniels Sr. and Julius Lee Daniels Jr.; sister, Lena Huff; and daughter-in-law, Bernice Dale.
Mattie leaves to cherish her loving memory: her devoted ex-husband, Richard Dale Sr.; children, Richard Dale (Bernice), Joanne Dale, Anthony Dale (Yalandria), Barbara Dale and Katina Dale (Eunice); her oldest sister, Betty Jean Waters; her grandchildren, Quinton Pate, Christopher McQuay, Lanadra Wright, George Fipps, Kiara Dale, Ricky Watson, Milesha Martin, Renee Johnson, Terry Dale, Sean Bradley, Erika Jerry, Zonesha Thomas, Olympia Jelks, Racquel Buster, Anthony Dale, Kenyata Williams and Martayvia Stuart; 10 great-grandchildren; devoted friend, Tommie Sims & a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of other relatives and friends.
