Mrs. Laura Sherer is Laid to Rest. Aged Local Woman is Interred in Highland Cemetery
Mrs. Laura M. Sherer, 123 Third ave., was laid to rest in Highland cemetery by the side of her husband Monday afternoon, following services in the Holland and Bonine funeral home at which W. M. Bailey officiated. Pallbearers were Allen Boyington, Anton Loier, Peter Ellis, William Ray, Andrew Parent and William Howell.
Mrs. Laura M. Sherer was born Aug. 12, 1855, in Mattawan, Mich., and she died Oct. 7, in a Havre hospital. She had lived in Havre and vicinity ever since she came here with her husband 26 years ago.
Surviving are the following: a daughter, Mrs. Willow Downs, Havre; and two grandchildren, Jack Downs, Havre, and Mrs. Melvin Simmons of Rimbey, Alberta.
