Mrs. Charlie Austin, 60, of 1142 Fairfax, died Tuesday, January 18, 1977, in a local hospital.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the Leverett and Steele Chapel, with Roy Smalley officiating. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery.

Ola Maude Miller Austin was born in Lake Creek on June 12, 1916, daughter of Wright Miller and Clyde Lamb Miller.

Survivors include four sons, Jerry Austin, Tex Austin and Jimmy Austin, all of Paris, and Milton Austin of Detroit; two daughters, Miss Charlene Austin of Paris and Mrs. Cecil Simmons (Myra) of Caviness; four sisters, Mrs. Doris Tucker of Austin, Mrs. Jeannette Houston of Dallas and Mrs. Lorene Millard and Mrs. Flossie Nichols, both of Paris; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jerry Austin, Tex Austin, Milton Austin, Jimmy Austin, Mickel Hess and Billy Winkler.
