Deborah Kay Spann Wells, 60, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2013, while in the care of the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.

She was born in Little Rock on November 28, 1952, the daughter of Elvin & Millie Spann. Deborah graduated from Wilbur D. Mills High School in 1971.

Debbie spent her career at Arkansas Farm Bureau in information systems. While working at Farm Bureau she met her wonderful husband, Andrew Wells. They were married June 1, 1996. She retired after 35 years in May 2012. She loved gardening, bird watching, and volunteering at the Arkansas Rice Depot.

Deborah is survived by her spouse of 17 years, her brother, her sons, and her grandchildren and her aunt & uncle Spann. She was loved and will be missed by her many family members and friends.

Interment will be held on Thursday, June 27, at 2 pm at Orion Cemetery in Hensley, Arkansas under the direction of Roller Chenal Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County.
