Alice C. Adams, daughter of Jerry and Sarah Adams was born in sullivan, Indiana on Aughtst 23 1850; and departed this life at the home her daughter, Mr. Jean Weaver, of Casey, Saturday September 28th, at the age of 90 years, 1 month, and 5 days.

She was united in marriage to B. F. Finney on December 30, 1868. to this union were born eleven children, of which number, five have preceded her in death. Her husband passed away 30 years ago.

She with her husband united with the Church of Christ at Walnut Chapel several years ago.

Surviving are six children: Vess Finey of Hume: Bert Finney of St Joseph: Harley Finney of Valley Home, Calif.; Guy Finney of Decker, Ind.; Mrs Edna Weaver and Oral Finney both of Casey. There is one brogher, Frank Adams of Charleston; and three sisters, Mrs. Effie Maxey of Kavava, Michigan; Mrs Mary Sample of La Port, Indiana, and Mrs. Olive Gore of ____. Thirty-two grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from Walnut chapel Monday afternoon September 30th at 2 O;clock. Rev Loyd Riggins of Charleston and Rev C. H. Owens of Casey were in charge of the services. Burial was in Leamon cemetery.

Grandsons acted as pall-bearers and granddaughters were in charge of the flowers. Bruce Cramer, Doyle Hickox, Mary Harris and Amy Cramer sang "The Old Rugged Cross," "Never Grow Old". "Rock of Ages," and "Never say Good-bye".
