August 26, 1934 ~ April 27, 2013
A feminine, beautiful lady peacefully passed from mortality on April 27, 2013. Delores Johnson Freeman was born August 26, 1934 to David and Myrtle Kelsey Johnson.
Raised in Salt Lake City, she graduated from West High School and went on to work at Utah Power and Light for 32 years. Throughout her life she made many dear friends, she cherished them all. Delores was a tender and devoted wife, a sweet, gentle mother and mother-in-law, a fun, giggly grandmother.
We will always remember her unique little idioms, one for every occasion, and her adorable, singular laugh, she would throw her head back and ripple with joy at a funny story or good joke.
Delores met her eternal companion at a dance at the Rainbow Rendezvous, where they shared many good memories together. She married Albert LaDean Freeman February 12th, 1955, they were later sealed for time and eternity in the Jordan River Temple. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was ever faithful and loved the gospel. She loved visiting teaching and the dear friends she grew close to through it.
Preceded in death by her beloved parents, as well as cherished brothers and sisters. Survived by her husband, who has tenderly cared for her through these difficult days; also survived by sons Arlan (Diane) Freeman, and Michael (Sydna) Freeman. She will be ever missed by her grandchildren, Max, Jake, Abby and Parker (Cony) Freeman and Mark (Corrissa) and Anna Freeman.
