A funeral service celebrating the life of Danny Ray Roberson,30, of Bakersfield,CA.,will be held on Saturday,June 24 2006, 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church,1401 East Brundage Lane. Interment will immediately follow in Union Cemetery.A viewing will be held today,Friday,June 23 2006,beginning at 1:00 p.m in the Chapel of Beloved Care Funeral Services 115 18th. Danny Ray Boberson Jr. was born Sept 23 1975 in Bakersfield,CA.,to Danny Ray Roberson Sr. and Marsha Anne Nelson.Danny attended schools in Bakersfield and in Sacramento.Danny graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1993.Danny briefly attended Bakersfield College.His first job was working at Mc Donalds.Danny later found work at Brundage Lane Liquor Store were he worked closely with Melvin Bruce.In the month of October in the year of 1997, he started work at Pool/Nabors Energy Services where he found much enjoyment as a Crew Chief and remained there until his death.Danny's love for cars began at a early age,His father would take "Ray Ray" in his Monte Carlo to see drag races.As "Ray Ray" grew older he no longer wanted to be called "Ray Ray",Danny was more appropriate.,Danny was a "stunna".Danny had a boyish look but he was a great man.Danny had a gift of gab.When Danny started and finished a project you knew it was a product of Danny,
everything was top of the line.No car was complete without music,interior paint,custom door knobs,bumber,fender,rims and a rebuilted chromed out engine.You could hear him coming before you saw him and once you saw him you knew he was there and "all eyes were on him" from his mustang,chevy "sticky green" and recently his new 2006 Ninja motorcycle.Once all eyes were always on him he kept your attention with his boyish smile,by the nod of his head,fresh hair cut,clean shave,freshly pressed t-shirt,jeans and the bright white K-Swiss.And if that did not keep your attention on him he always had a practical joke for you and his knowledge of every finished product always amazed you,but no project was ever complete because he always wanted to do more.
Danny is preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.Danny leaves to mourn his passing,father Danny Ray Roberson Sr,and mother Marsha Anne Nelson,grandmother Ernestine Nelson and Ophelia Roberson all of Bakersfield,Ca.His brothers,Mark of Sacramento,Ca. and DeTroy of Las Vegas,NV.,and Jason of Bakersfield,CA.,his four children Danyell,Zavion,Laila, and Danny III all of
