GALVESTON —Lucy V. Stevens, age 76, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. She was born in Bryan, Texas on May 29, 1938. Even though she wasn't a "B.O.I", she loved living on Galveston Island and was proud to call it her home. She loved shopping and playing cards with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her son James Allen Mayo.
She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Dotson (Wayne), Pam Fleming (Calvin) and Carr Lynn Smith; son Robert Smith; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home, with Reverend Dennis Allen officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service time beginning at 2:00 P.M.
