Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Mae Plunk, age 83, will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Alamo First Assembly of God with Rev. Darren Howell, Rev. Josh Griffin and Rev. Jerry Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at Oakview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Plunk was born on June 29, 1931 and passed on to be with her Lord and savior May 26, 2015.
Mrs. Plunk was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Franklin and Lela Altie Rosson Teague; husband, Adrian Everett Plunk; daughters, Bonnie Faye Plunk and Mary Edith Norville; sons, Tim Plunk and David Plunk; grandchildren, Brandon Joe Plunk and Megan Renee Weaver; sisters, Ruth Altie Teague Hill and Ruby Lee Teague Rainey.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Melissa Plunk Osborne and husband Charles; sister, Zula Mae “Boots” Dunn; brothers, J.C. Teague, Kenneth Teague, James Teague and Billy Joe Teague; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; her church family and friends.
She continued to praise her Lord and savior even after family losses. She was a strong inspiration to everyone around her.
Visitation for Mrs. Plunk will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015 5-8 pm at Ronk Funeral Home.
