Michael A. Hodge, age 47, of Wawaka, IN passed away on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born in Wynne, AR on January 2, 1968 the son Tony and Frances (Taylor) Hodge, on October 17, 1998 he married Stacey Woodrum.

He is survived by his wife, Stacey Hodge of Wawaka, IN; a daughter, Tressa C. Hodge at home; parents, Tony and Frances Hodge; a brother, Allen (Heather) Hodge; and a grandmother, Gladys Hodge all of Goshen; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael served as an elder and was very active in the South Milford Church of Christ. For three years he successfully ran the Upward basketball league in the church. He also coached baseball and had a love for bowling, hunting and gardening. Michael was an avid Notre Dame football and White Sox’s baseball fan.

A memorial service will be held in Michael’s honor on Sunday May 31, 2015 at 3PM at South Milford Church of Christ, 8030 E 600 S; Wolcottville, IN 46795. Pastors Brian Walter and Gilbert Alicea will officiate. Following the service everyone is invited to join the family at the church for a meal and a time of sharing memories. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligioner, IN.
