Rev. Sparks obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Carlow University, her Master’s Degree in music education from Duquesne University and her Masters of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She was very active in musical theater in the Pittsburgh area as well.
Daughter of the late Cora Sparks and the late Ronald Sparks.
Loving sister of Debbie (Bernie) Seneway of MD.
Survived by many loving cousins.
Her close loving friends that worked with her throughout her ministry: Bonnie DiCarlo, Rev. Dr. Willa Dean Lowery and Rev. Dr. Moni McIntyre.
Rev. Sparks will be fondly remembered by her church community, and the students, staff and faculty at Carlow University and the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
