JOHN J.B. PRIMEAU
After an illness of three years John J. B. Primeau died at his residence in this city, Tuesday morning. Mr. Primeau came to this town at an early age from near Montreal, where he was born, and resided here ever since, except for about two years while in business at Worcester, Mass; For many years he, with Mr. Kearshurg, and later with Mr. L. F. Phillips, carried on an extensive dry goods store, on Court street. Later he engaged in the millinery business. He was a reputable citizen and a wholesouled, generous man, who could never do too much for his friends, of whom he had many. He leaves a wife, Mrs, Kate A. Primeau, and numerous relatives to mourn his death.
