FREDERICKSBURG - Mr. Felix Thomas Bernhard of Fredericksburg passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010, in the Windcrest Nursing and Rehab at the age of 86 years.
Mr. Felix Bernhard is survived by his wife, Mary Baumann Bernhard of Fredericksburg; two daughters, three sons and spouses, Chris Bernhard of Seguin, Felix and Debbie Bernhard Jr. of Louise, Texas, Linda and Larry Etheredge of Fredericksburg, Susan Bernhard of Seguin and Clyde and Tina Bernhard of Christoval; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in repose in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, until 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, with Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m. in the St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Msgr. Enda McKenna officiating.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in his memory to the Hill Country Memorial Hospital Hospice, Harper EMS or to the charity of your choice.
A vigil service will be held on Monday, July 5, at 6 p.m., in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
Visitation for Mr. Felix T. Bernhard will begin on Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
