Sgt. Sirlou C. Cuaresma of Chicago, Illinois joined the army in 2000 and was on his third tour. He was to come home for good in October. The last time his father talked to him Sirlou told him he would call on his birthday. His birthday was the 21st and he died the 21st in Iraq. Survived by his father, Bernadino Cuaresma. He died from a non-combat related cause in Baghdad at age 25.
