He was born December 30, 1988 in Jacksonville, NC the son of Leon and Shannon (Gwaltney) Anderson. Jake was a 2007 graduate of South Beloit High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Jake married Lanae Diehl on October 9, 2009 in Rockford, IL.
Jake was formerly employed by Central Ford in South Beloit, IL, Tom Peck in Clinton, WI, and was currently employed by Integrity Auto Care. He loved his animals, fishing and outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Lanae Anderson of Beloit, WI; his parents, Leon Anderson of South Beloit, IL and Shannon Anderson of Roscoe, IL; two brothers, Leon Anderson of Beloit, WI, and Luke Anderson of South Beloit, IL; one sister, Katie Anderson of Long Beach, CA; paternal grandparents, Leon and Donna Anderson of Theodosia, MO; maternal grandparents, Sandy Morse of Poplar Grove, IL, and Ray Gwaltney of Rockford, IL; uncles, Alan Anderson and Ryan Gwaltney; aunts, Maegan Gwaltney and Erin Stout.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend Gene VanGalder officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
